Pal, Utpal Regular Member
B.Sc/ M.Sc/ Ph.D., University of Calcutta, India. Dr. Pal's primary research interest is to study host-pathogen interactions to understand the mechanisms by which arthropod-borne pathogens persist in nature. A current focus of his laboratory is a recently discovered bacterial pathogen, Borrelia burgdorferi, which is responsible for Lyme disease.
