The Graduate School and the Campus Wide Recruitment and Retention Committee at the University of Maryland College Park, will host a one-day Graduate School Preview Day on Thursday, October 4, 2007 in the Adele H. Stamp Student Union from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.  An important goal of the Fair is to identify students of great promise and recruit them for graduate study here at College Park.  Participants will have an opportunity to attend important workshops, an interactive luncheon with currently enrolled, happy and highly motivated graduate students and have meetings with representatives from each UM graduate program.  The Fair is open to all competitive sophomores, juniors and seniors; however, students who are African American, Asian Pacific American, Hispanic/Latino and Native American heritage are especially encouraged to attend.
