What is the Doctoral Career Navigator Online Tool?

      • An online tool that will enable you to learn more about how to move from your doctoral program or postdoc to a job--in small manageable bites!
      • Each module can be completed in about an hour anytime anywhere. Modules can be completed in any order, though we do recommend that you go in order. You can enroll in two multi-part workshops that use the modules: What are You Going to Do with Your Doctorate (4 weeks) and Internship and Job Search for Doctorate Students (5 weeks).

Doctoral Careers Pop-Up Session

Attend a Fall Pop-Up Session hosted by our DCC, Charlene

Pop-ups are interactive, unrecorded sessions where our DCC briefly introduces the participants to the content in Navigator and most of the hour is focused on interactive activities where the participants engage in that session's career-related topic. See the descriptions for the topics and types of activities for each session.

These sessions are geared toward doctoral students and postdocs. You must be a UMD student to attend. Click the hyperlinked title to register in Zoom.
